# P256.fromMnemonic

Derives a valid P256 private key from a BIP-39 mnemonic.

This is equivalent to passing `Mnemonic.toSeed(mnemonic, { passphrase })` to [`P256.fromSeed`](/docs/utilities/p256/fromSeed).

### mnemonic
